Valentine's Day Gift Guide for Travel Lovers

Valentine's Day Gift Guide for Travel Lovers

There can be a lot of pressure put on Valentine’s Day and finding the perfect gift that goes beyond the typical pink + red everything, chocolate-covered whatever and bouquet of over-priced roses that will immediately drop in price the second Feb. 14th is over.

Instead, I’ve pulled together a list of things that I personally own (or would love to receive, hint hint) that would be perfect for the adventure seeker in your life!

Check out my fool-proof guide below, and enter for your chance to win $100 to Jord Watches!

I hope you love the products that I recommend! Just so you know, I may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page

1. Jord Watches

Galavantgal_Jord_Watch.jpg

Nothing beats the gift of time, so an elegant way of checking it has to be second-best, right? Personally, I am a watch person. I feel weird not wearing one, and it’s such an easy and hassle-free way to accessorize when you’re on the go. If it’s functional + fashionable, it’s a must-have!

Jord (pronounced Yode) is based in St. Louis, MO where they constantly develop new and elegant designs. The watches are a sophisticated mix of natural, and largely re-claimed materials, combined with quality movements and components.

You even have the option of engraving a personalized love note on the back to add a special touch this Valentine’s Day!

Enter Contest Here to automatically receive 10% off your order and your chance to win $100 towards the purchase of any watch in the collection!

*Contest will run through March 14th, 2020. The winner will be randomly selected and notified via email.

2. Frost River Urban Field Bag

Galavantgal_Frost_River.jpg

If you know me, you know I’m usually carrying around a small arsenal of emergency snacks and beverages, a small pharmacy and a plethora of items for just about any situation. I’m extremely picky (and opinionated) when it comes to the bags I use in order to carry all this with me on a daily basis, and I can honestly say the Urban Field Bag from Frost River exceeds my high expectations.

This bag is made of waxed canvas, so it’s durable, water-resistant and equipped for any adventure with abundant pockets to hold all your travel necessities.

Get it from Frost River Trading Company, For $80

You can also read how I turned the River Bank Tackle Bag into my camera bag here.

3. TravelWifi Wireless Wifi

In this digital age, it’s essential to have reliable Wifi when you’re on the go. Give the gift of staying connected with TravelWifi’s Teppy Pocket Wifi device.

You can rent or buy coverage, and customize your plan to your needs. I personally have used my Teppy all over the US and even in Asia, and I just know you’ll love it as much as I do.

5. Instax Camera

There’s something so romantic about being able to take little imperfect snapshot photos of your travels, which is why I personally love my Instax Mini. The photos make wonderful keepsakes and I love having them on display.

Get it the Instax Mini 90 on Amazon for $109

6. Yeti Tumbler

One of the simplest ways we can lower our carbon footprint while traveling is by bringing a reusable drinkware. I really stand behind Yeti because it’s high quality, durable and keeps your drink at the desired temperature. There are a bunch of mug and tumbler options, but personally I like using the 20oz. tumbler for everyday use.

7. Alpine Start Instant Coffee

I recently discovered Boy Brow for myself and I can honestly say it’s the best addition to my small, but mighty, makeup collection. When you’re on the go, bringing only the essentials is key. And having nice eyebrows with minimal effort is also great when you’re not great shakes at doing a full face of makeup.

So what is Boy Brow? It’s a grooming pomade that helps shape your brows and keep them in place all day. It comes in 4 shades: Blonde, Brown and Black and Clear, packaged in a very tiny tube that takes up next to no space in your travel bag.

But don’t just take my word for it. With over 2,500+ positive reviews, you really can’t go wrong!

Get it here for $16

10. City Tins:
